ASPP and PACA launch REINVENTION WEEKEND conference for photography professionalsThe American Society of Picture Professionals (ASPP) has teamed up with the the Picture Archive Council of America (PACA) to produce a “Reinvention Weekend” conference in Boston on April 15th – 18th.  The focus of the conference is to aid attendees in Reinventing, Reimagining and Reinvigorating your career or your approach to the photography business. The conference is being structured to foster spirited dialogues with photo contemporaries including: stock agents, researchers, editors, publishers, art buyers, photographers and consultants. 

Speakers will include Rick Smolan, Ilise Benun of marketing-mentor.com, Allen Murabayashi and Andrew Fingerman of PhotoShelter, Caitlin Jewell of Silverscape, Nancy Andrews of Detroit Free Press, Ian Ginsberg of VII Agency, Lou Jones and others. Brian Storm is the keynote speaker and will also join a panel to discuss thought-provoking insights into the new paradigms for our industry.

During Trade Show hours on Thursday, PACA will also be providing a demonstration of their newly launched pacaSearch. A meta-search engine hoping to set a new standard for stock image searching.

The registration fees for this 3-day event is $495 for ASPP* and PACA members, and $590 for sister organizations.  The weekend will take place at the beautiful and historic Omni Parker House Hotel in downtown Boston.
